On Halloween night (Friday, October 31) from 7-11pm, we’re hosting our 5th annual throwback Hi-Loween party from 7-11pm.

The frightfully fun rooftop bash features live music from 8-11pm by from Collective Band, a high-energy cover band that plays the best of the 80s, 90s, 2000s and modern hits.

While the vibes are high and dance floor is full, guests can enjoy spooky cocktail specials, a 360-degree photo booth to capture the fun with friends, “fear factor” games and a costume contest with prizes for the best dressed.

Hi-Lawn’s Hi-Loween party is 21+ and tickets are just $10 here, with all food and drink sold a la carte.

We’re celebrating all-things-fall with our 5th annual “Lawntoberfest” on Sunday, October 26 from 1-8pm. The all-ages day of festivities features pumpkin painting, live music, DC Brau beer tastings, themed bingo and trivia games, autumnal fare and more seasonal fun.

Throughout the day, we’ll be selling fresh apple cider donuts and caramel apples, plus seasonal pies from Ravenhook Bakehouse.

Gourds abound, as you can pick and paint your own pumpkins — and share a photo of the finished product on social media (tagging us @hilawndc) to enter to win prizes!

Beer-lovers should stop by between 1-3pm, when DC Brau will host a tap takeover and pour complimentary tastings of their beers.

We’ll host free-to-play themed trivia and bingo from 1-4pm, plus have communal lawn games all day, including cornhole, ladder toss, giant Connect Four, bean bag toss, giant Jenga, giant UNO and more.

There will also be a 360-degree photobooth from Allstar Pix from 1-5pm to capture all the fall memories.

Local musicians will play free live music on the lawn from 3-6pm.

Our Lawntoberfest celebration is free to attend and open to the public. All food, drink and other goods will be sold a la carte. The event is family-friendly. Pets are not allowed on the roof.

Every Monday in October starting 10/13, crime-solvers can gather to watch murder mysteries in the Dome starting at 6:30pm. All viewers can enjoy free popcorn, with other movie snacks (like candy, and $3 hot dogs) for sale. Here is the lineup:

Yeehaw, y’all! Our 3rd annual “Boot ‘N Scoot” – DC’s only country music fest —returns on Saturday, October 18. We’re hosting one long day of country fun from 2-11pm, including live music, line dancing, trick roping, a DJ country dance party, BBQ specials and more.

Kick up your boots to live music from local country star Wil Gravatt and country classics from local Human Country Jukebox plus DJ tunes, and a nighttime wild western dance party from DC Stampede.

Learn the boot scootin’ boogie with line dancing classes throughout the day, and hone your lasso skills with trickroping lessons.

For those who work up an appetite at the Hi-Lawn hoedown, guests can chow down on BBQ favorites from “The Pit” like house smoked pulled pork and chicken, Texas sausage, and sides, plus smoked brisket from Capital Q BBQ; alongside Tex-Mex classics from “The Canteen” such as taco platters, loaded nachos and chips ‘n dips. And to wash it all down, enjoy cold beer, whiskey old fashioneds, agave cocktails and other themed drinks.

And then from 7:30-10pm, don your western chic and desert glam for “DC’s Wildest Country Western Dance Party” hosted by DC Stampede. Two-step under the stars to nonstop dance floor hits, with line dancing and country swing overlooking the city skyline.

Hi-Lawn’s unique Dome space becomes “The Corral” for the day with unique experiences such as a 360-degee photo booth from Allstar Pix, hat and boot branding by Hatpin by Angie, handmade western jewelry by Ransom Jewelry, and wares from Mount Pleasant’s El West shop.
